Bobby Burton Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago This is the best video I've seen on this topic. No hyperbole. No yelling, Just describing. 16 Quote

ChanmanV Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Good stuff. The film says it all. The first play is the one I've been saying is the most indicative of his failing and the guy does a great job of analyzing it. I think it's worth rewatching games and analyzing last year to see if we were giving Arch too much credit for some throws that might have been more lucky that anything else. This whole Arch thing makes me feel gaslit by Sark. I suspect this has been an issue for a long time but his legs and miraculous throws and catches have tempered the fire. 1 Quote
Jbro52 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago He has some pretty good videos even one going over his time in Sarks offense 1 Quote

I didn't realize there were that many receivers that wide open. Arch is bad, but the OL doesn't get a pass. They were pretty bad at times too. What in the hell were these two OL doing on this play? 6 Quote
ThatHornsGuy87 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago We need Sabans sport psychiatrist on campus! He needs to be rewired. Something upstairs is broken. I hate it for the kid 3 Quote
SimGent Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I'm biased as a San Francisco fan but when Arch decides to return the person I would like him to call is Brock Purdy to pick his brain on processing and playing in a system that schemes a lot open and gives you multiple answers offensively. Quote
Horn n KS Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Nice breakdown, feel bad for Arch but that is unacceptable. nitpicky note on my part but as Im watching the film breakdown on my tiny phone with my aging eyes… make the film breakdown bigger and the camera view of the commentator should be very small in the bottom corner 🤘(old man yells at clowd) lol 1 Quote

Neil Leininger Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The body language of the WRs looks to be at all time low. They have no trust in Arch right now. I have to readjust my thoughts from Sunday, it's 100% Arch. He just can't read a defense and process at a level needed for Sarkisian's offense to take off. There was plenty of candy left on the field, and Browne makes it extremely obvious. I just don't see how you come back to him against Ole Miss. A bad QB will get a coach and GM fired, and the reality of the siuation is Arch is there right now. 4 Quote

He had some great games and then would have some really bad ones. So can we really say it's 100% just on Arch? I mean I can see what the video is saying and hell even what the all 22 is showing with guys open and all that. But I still hesitate to just say it's all Arch. Because if it's 100% on him, then what have they been teaching him and what has he been doing in practice? Quote

Ewers usually started hot and could light teams up. His other main struggle was the deep ball which is a big part of Sarks offense. He was money in the short game and could move the chains. 1 Quote
4thandFive Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I didn’t watch the whole thing, but what I did watch says KJ needs to start. It’s unfathomable how Arch is missing this many open WRs. 1 Quote

TXFF Posted 48 minutes ago Posted 48 minutes ago That is not the Arch we saw the second half of last season so we know he can play much better. Something has caused him to become apprehensive and play tight. Fear of throwing an interception? Not trusting his receivers to continue on the proper route? Expecting to get blasted by a 350 pound DT because he doesn't trust his OL? The overall pressure of everyone's expectations? Or all of that combined? I presume the team has a sports psychologist who can help him work through whatever it is. Quote

QE was perfect for Sark prior to the Dallas Turner hit against Alabama. Go back and watch the video. The 20 yard out across the field just before that hit was a throw only a handful of NFL guys could make. He was never the same after that hit. Quote

It's not a stretch to suspect that there could be subconscious behaviors to avoid taking hits like that. For me, it would most likely be entirely conscious. I still vividly remember a hit I took almost 60 years ago in seventh grade. Quote
