Injury update on Kade Phillips | Sunday, 1:50 p.m.

A source told OTF Texas CB Kade Phillips is dealing with a groin injury. He left Saturday night's 31-3 win over Mississippi State. 

“I think clearly, you guys all saw Graceson Littleton didn't finish the game," Sark said. "Cam Coleman didn't finish the game. Kade Phillips didn't finish the game. Hollywood Smothers didn't finish the game. Ryan Wingo didn't finish the game. So, all integral parts to the team. The severity of all those guys is unknown at the moment." 

We're told the groin has been giving him problems for a few weeks now, but not to the extent of keeping him from being able to play. 

It is unknown if he'll be able to play against Mizzou at this time. We'll see what the injury report states on Wednesday and how the week goes. We're told Phillips' intention is to play vs. the Tigers but again, we'll have to see how the week goes.

ngl Smoke Matthews looked nice at DB. Kade was getting targeted first half

will be a close game.  if he can go, that only helps us at least from depth perspective.

I’m hoping a lot of these injuries are minimal and they were all kept out just in case because we felt we had the game in hand and didn’t want to push them back and risk injury for the home stretch.

He did not get abused. Two PIs and one TD. Ask Auburn, Florida, etc. what getting abused by Trinidad Chambliss looks like.

Allowed just 16 receptions on 31 targets, an only one longer than 25 yards.

Kade has been very, very reliable for Texas this season.

I think that is because we put him on oppositions numero uno receiver.

Yes. And the ball always has to go somewhere. if you're the QB, do you want to throw it to Graceson Littleton, Bo Mascoe, or Kade Phillips?

I like KP's aggressiveness and willingness to tackle. Has he been perfect? No, but he's played well over the course of the season

You are clueless. They completed a couple of short passes in front of him because we started the game in a softer coverage. Muschamp brought our corners up the 2nd half to take away the dink and dunk. We gave up 119 yards passing. Kade has been really good this year

Another site said littleton could be a season ender so could smothers. Kade 2 to 4 weeks and Coleman doubtful and wingo second opinion to see the severity of the I injury we need a grass field so we don’t get these injury’s ok shoulders.

No he didn’t he had some amazing players make some amazing plays. We were hating on Malik too in 24 and then look what happened

Hank has more info on this. I would t trust any other site about injuries. Sark has been very cautious and conservative with injuries and I doubt very seriously that if Littleton had a season ended he would’ve been out there trying to get back in the game.

Was not facing Missou or LSU QB or O. But who knows, he may be a load. Who is 24 on our D?
