I’m low level there 🤪😂 The guy I talked to said, Cody is football only. He’s not helping with JT Toppin. All I’ll say is I’m glad we have Klavon. She’s awesome Somebody gave Toppin four million for next season. Quote
DanielOnorato Posted yesterday at 02:40 AM Posted yesterday at 02:40 AM Henrys tremendous at bat, hit and steal really got the party started in the 6th. Id have been very upset had Texas lost that game due to the obstruction call. Makes the win that much sweeter to be honest. Overcoming all obstacles and still finding a way to win. 6 Quote
Dustin DeLong Posted yesterday at 02:41 AM Posted yesterday at 02:41 AM Incredible game! That was some Texas Fight! Jobs not done, one more to go! 6 Quote

I've watched a ton of NCAA softball over the years and that was one of the craziest games I've ever seen. As non-revenue sports get more exposure, we see how awful so much officiating truly is.... These are part-time jobs for almost all NCAA officials. ...and I don't really even blame the umpires on the field with cameras and drones looking over their shoulders, but there's no excuse making such terrible calls with replay. It's been going on for 20 years, since Henry Melton was denied that TD at the pylon at OSU in 2005. 🤘 5 Quote

MikeH Posted yesterday at 03:38 AM Posted yesterday at 03:38 AM Reese Atwood is an absolute legend for pulling that off in that spot. After the first two were almost strikes (I’m pretty sure the second one was tbh), I swear I could see the gears turning in her head through the TV and I wondered if she’d take a hack at one if Canady kept leaving it in there and sure enough she did. Big time guts and big time talent. What an awesome game! 3 Quote
f1revo Posted yesterday at 03:53 AM Posted yesterday at 03:53 AM Think Mac pitches tomorrow to preserve Kavan for a close role or potential game 3 while Tech has to wear down Canady more? Quote

Steamboat Willie Posted yesterday at 03:55 AM Posted yesterday at 03:55 AM That was some crazy stuff for sure. Why in hell would anyone put the ball out over the plate in that situation, let alone the greatest player to ever put on a pair of cleats. Hook ‘Em Quote
TXFF Posted yesterday at 04:00 AM Posted yesterday at 04:00 AM Atwood's game winning hit off the attempted intentional walk is one of the most clutch heady gutsy (...) plays I've seen in decades of watching sports. Amazing and stunning. What a game! 3 Quote

harveycmd Posted yesterday at 07:38 AM Posted yesterday at 07:38 AM The obstruction call was something. White said the way the rule is written made the call necessary. That's some stuff when you gotta beat the best player and the rules. That said, I don't think I've ever seen a play like Reece Atwood hitting a pitch during an intentional walk. Quote
texcoyote15 Posted yesterday at 10:07 AM Posted yesterday at 10:07 AM Reese’s hit will go down as the softball 4th and 13 Matthew Golden catch. Man that’s coming up big in a huge moment. THAT’S Texas Fight. This is the reason kids come to Texas. Quote
Thanos72 Posted yesterday at 10:23 AM Posted yesterday at 10:23 AM Uhh, we lost the next game. Let’s burn some sage and delete this post. 🤘🏽 2 Quote

Not in softball, but Bo Jackson hit a double when they tried to intentionally walk him in the pros. And there the catcher was standing outside the box. Doesn’t take away from Reese though, that was clutch and some next level thinking on the spot. Quote
