texcoyote15 Posted yesterday at 12:58 PM Posted yesterday at 12:58 PM I saw a big debate on another site. You’re the coach of the Texas Longhorns. Do you start Teagan tonight or do you go like they did against Tennessee and start Mac with Teagan in relief? Quote
Jarveaux Posted yesterday at 01:17 PM Posted yesterday at 01:17 PM Oh what a night ! All we heard from the commentators was Canady, Canady , Canady ! perhaps they will respect Kavan now that she’s beat Canady 4 straight times. My wife & I so enjoyed the win ! Can’t wait until tonight! Thank you OTF for the wonderful coverage of our Ladies Softball team . Mike White & our team representing our University well . 2 Quote

Late in the WCWS, White said that Kavan lost some velocity when she was tired, so it makes a difference for her to get rest. 2 Quote

Definitely think they give Mac the start though to give Tech a different look to start. Edited yesterday at 01:31 PM by Hashtag 1 Quote

Answered it above but you give Mac the start and 1 run through the lineup as long as her drop ball is low in the zone. If she cleans up like she did vs Tennessee then you let her go another. At any point if her drop ball starts elevate in the zone you talk to her and watch another batter. If it's still high then you pull and bring in TK. Have to give Tech a different look in this game to start to throw their hitters off and then you can bring TK in to throw them off again midway through the game. 3 Quote
Paul Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I have a question for this group. Are there no rules around visits by the coach to batters? It seemed the Tech coach had a huddle with each batter that came up. I always thought the umpires were break those up after multiple visits in the same inning. Quote
