Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 6 hours ago Moderators Posted 6 hours ago Derrek Cooper note Texas remains in contact with the 5-star RB from Hollywood (Fla) Chaminade-Madonna. The Longhorns simply want Cooper to make an OV during the season for a game weekend. Texas wanted him to make a weekend OV in June, but Cooper’s family didn’t want to cancel a weekend OV to schools that had been recruiting him 1.5-2 years. Cooper announced today on X that he will no longer be announcing a decision July 12. Georgia, Miami, Ohio State and Texas in contention. 44 Quote

NIL packages get pretty heavy around the decision timeline. Whether or not he ends up committing elsewhere on July 2, I still have a solid feeling about the Longhorns earning the signature. 15 Quote
