I guess I’m a Longhorn disrespecting a-hole. Some of yall take this recruiting thing too seriously. Not the same. Disrespect and disappointment are not equal. It was weak but he’s a kid. If his dad wasn’t a Horn it wouldn’t even get my attention. That’s the part that surprised me. Edited 8 hours ago by CoachBobbyFinstock 2 Quote

For the hundreds of hours of time and all the money invested by schools in their recruitment, this crap reflects low character imho. Classless behavior. And by a Legacy! Compare it to almost every single interview that Texas recruits have done with OTF. The Longhorns recruits on OTF have made me proud to be a Texas alum and fan of the team. Says a lot about Sark's "Culture" he emphasizes so much. 2 Quote

This was extremely well done by Kaydon, imho, two days following his decision announcement. Pure speculation on my part, but it wouldn’t surprise me if there was a dad/son character discussion and learning moment in the past 36 hrs following the Longhorn hat fake and toss the evening of July 4th. I’ve got 4 kids and my oldest son is in his mid-20s. When they make poor choices, even things that seem small in the moment, turn it into a learning oppty. It’s part of growing up and teaching our boys how to become men of integrity and character. I’m grateful to my dad for doing the same with me when I made stupid choices at similar age 40 yrs ago. Again….Kaydon’s followup post today with gratitude and respect for the other teams who recruited him the hardest (highlighting specific players and coaches) while celebrating Notre Dame as his ultimate choice is absolutely the right way to do it. All class. Extremely well done. Time to move on. Hook em! 🧡🐂🤘🏼 3 Quote
TexasFanatic Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Kaydon definitely got reprimanded after his stunt at the ceremony 😂 Definitely damage control with that post. Happy he posted it though 10 Quote

Happy he posted it though Yeah you know pops had to have said something. Kids will be kids but knowing he was brought up with a good life cause of what his dad did as a Longhorn should have led him to handle that differently. Live and learn…. Good luck to the kid. We’re good either way ye went imo 2 Quote

Anytime Jermichael Finley speaks, he’s all about accountability, work ethic, doing things the right way. Good to see Kaydon make the post online earlier today and clean things up. It wasn’t a good look 2 nights ago but he corrected it the right way today. Any ex-Longhorn who was teammates with Aaron Rodgers and calls him out for lack of accountability, the QB who’s always pointing finger at others after bad throws, lots of respect for JF. 🤘🏼🐂🧡 1 Quote

This is Gerber baby food soft lol I usually agree with takes like this but it was completely unnecessary. All he had to do was pick up the ND hat and commit while leaving the Texas hat alone on the table (like he did the aggy hat) but he went out of his way to be disrespectful for no reason. He showed more respect to aggy than he did Texas in that moment. I guess it's fine now that he sent out the PR statement but as Sark says "who you are some of the time is who you are all of the time". 1 Quote
