Nibblett being on the field and expecting to be a lead blocker on screens shouldn't be a thing at all. Stroh doesn't need to be on the field. He's a liability due to having 2 cinder blocks attached to his feet. He's only good if he can get his hands on you. I agree, Wingo needs to up his game. He looks like he doesn't even want to be there lol. Which is odd. Stroh definitely didn't have a good game where he had a better one against Ohio State. Disagree taht he doesn't need to be on the field, he just needs to get better/consistent, like most of the team. Niblett is a bit of a disappointment because he has some game changing speed but that's about it. Suppose the positive is that they have a few gimmes to get things sorted/fixed. Quote

Wingo looks RAW. We had a chance to go get some electric dudes out of the portal. Outside of Livingstone, Arch doesn’t have any reliable or explosive receivers to throw to right now. Inexcusable. Who did we have a chance to land in the portal at WR? I'll give a mulligan for that, as I believe it was smack bang in the middle of the playoffs, no? But I don't remember us being a favourite for any WR's. Quote
LonghornFan4Ever Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Not that it doesn’t make Texas’ offensive issues any less significant, but after watching so many top 25 teams lose or struggle to win, I feel better about this season if the offense continues to improve and they clean up the boneheaded penalties. 1 Quote

A lot of teams did struggle, that is true. Get the penalties down, be more consistent on O and establish yourself, that would be great. Quote

Did people really think that an offense with a new qb with minimal starts under his belt, 4 new o lineman, new skill position players across the board for the most part, were going to come out of spring polished and firing on all cylinders? if so, please share what yall are smoking or drinking lol. Bingo!! Quote

Definitely not complete overhaul. Too much. Play caller and I think we are good. Sark has to grow and realize he has to grow into a manager and not coordinator+. Thankful for what we have at this point. Line is solid with reboot, tight ends are on point and Livingston shows coaches at WR know what they are doing. So far loss to excellent Ohio State team and 30+ point win while being sloppy. Quote

The so called offensive genius has no clue what to do when his game plan and script run out. Arch looks worse than last year, Quinn regressed. We need a play calling qb coach in a bad way and sark seems to arrogant to realize it Quote

I didn't expect them to come out firing, but I did expect a bit more than I've seen so far. Not that I'm thoroughly disappointed or think the season is lost, far from it. I believe that things will continue to improve, perhaps I just had my expectations too high but I do believe they'll get it clicking eventually. There is flashes of it but just too much nonsense going on today. Ironically Arch was good today (outside of some stuff I've said elsewhere) it was penalties and drops that really hurt him today. OL also looked a lot more shaky today than it did last week. Quote
