To me, broken would imply that there's no hope. That the offense is beyond repair.

Texas can put a competitive product on the field, but it's going to take Sark calling the game and changing the way he calls/manages a game to play off of the defense and special teams.

It won't be sexy, but something has to give.

I don’t think we gonna see much different than what we’ve seen. 3-4 games is a pretty good gauge of what you are as a team.  Unless Arch makes monumental steps forward, we’re  gonna take a step back this year.

Folks, please take your personal conversations elsewhere.

If you need to address each other, don't do it in the thread.

Here we go with the 24/7 policeman coming over here doing his thing !  Smh 🤣🤣

I don't get why sark doesnt just follow notre dames style like last year and use manning how they used Riley Leonard? They were a run first team and he can take the hits.

The Texas offensive line hasn't shown it can support such a style of offense.

When is someone going to point a finger at Kyle Flood for having a below average O Line. Even last year they weren’t that special.

@Jeff Howe - while it was an ugly game on a hot afternoon in front of a cranky stadium, I think we should at least acknowledge that we rushed for 226 yards?

I'm also excited about James Simon.

Running backs had 43 carries for 169 yards 3.93 YPC, that is HORRIBLE! We couldn't run consistently until late in the game, not when it mattered. We continually failed running in short yardage situations. Looking at total rushing stats trying to gain any glimmer of hope from one of the worst offensive performances since Arkansas 2021.

I thought I mentioned Simon among my thoughts, but I left him out. That was my mistake. He was the unquestionable bright spot on offense today.

Texas has yet to have a special OL

The Film Guy made a comment that a number of scouts do not believe Arch can make touch throws and cant make the short and intermediate throws consistently.  I didnt want to believe that but it looks like it is true.

This was something I noticed last year and was the one thing I was worried about regarding Arch coming into the year. So many Texas fans took that skill that Quinn displayed effortlessly for granted and just assumed we'd keep that and add Arch's deep ball & mobility.

We don't have Notre Dame's Oline or a Jeremiyah Love on our roster.

I forgot to ask, but did Collin Simmons play in this one? Was I blind and didn't see him out there? Never heard his name called and he has no stats?

I have a feeling the QB run game will NEED to be incorporated more than Sark probably wants.

Arch's accuracy NEEDS to get better. He had time and receivers were open. Hopefully next week we see some improvement.

That's a recurring theme with him. Wide open receivers that he can't hit and easy throws that he can't make.
