I know it’s not what’s normally done but his defense has been the strength and identity of this program for the last couple of years This would be the answer. PK is obviously a great talent evaluator. 1 Quote
tommynobis Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago College ball is year round. It’s a grind. I think Sark just wants to coach and call plays. I don't see it with Freeman. Don’t think he’s great. I’d take Kiffin with PK before Freeman. That’s just me. I also think Dillingham gets interviewed. 1 Quote
Connor Vaughn Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Freeman wouldn’t work here. I could very easily see that being a Charlie Strong 2.0 situation. Hasn’t his defense taken a huge step back this year? What am I missing? Quote

Not sure they would potentially hurt Sark like that, but could be mistaken. I think when you sign up with an agent like sexton that controls the market of big name coaches you know he will use the leverage he has for his collective of coaches and what’s good for one guy is good for the collective in that situation. Agree if this is really the angle that it hurts sark in the short term but it will help long term. Doesn’t sark have a rider in his contract that keeps him within the top X of coaching salaries? I might be mistaken. Quote
Rocky P Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If this was furing thr offseason, id be 100% onnoard that sark and sexton leaked this. During the season though? This feels fugazi. Someone is trying to play fames with sark and texas. Sark badly wants a natty as an hc. Quote
tfoster40 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Love what Sark did bringing Texas back the last 2 years but if he wants to leave f!!! It go get Marcus Freeman Quote

Either way, something has been very, very off all season. We are historically bad on offense and that is unacceptable with what we are paying our HC and OC. If this continued into next season then leaving wouldn't be Sark's choice to make. He's not getting a raise so I'm not sure what the negotiation would be. 3 Quote

Jc Dobbs Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I wasn't expecting this, but it makes sense. Texas fans hear from Sark after Spring football and August camp how excited he is, yada, yada... Team never has looked right after Ohio State. Something's seriously "off," because it's hard to fathom such a precipitous fall by the Offense and the whole thing is collapsing. Sark is great with great roster and playing in the final four, etc.. Not so great when things got difficult this season. Wasn't expecting this, but it might explain a lot. Hook 'Em! Quote

Jimmy Sexton is telling CDC Sark is going to the NFL, BUT i happen to have another client that you might be interested in but it’s going to take $20 large to get him. LOL. Hey cut me some slack it’s a rainy day waiting on the game. 1 Quote

HookEmLonghorns Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If Sark doesn’t respond angrily and clearly denies all of this, then I feel like we’re in for a big change sooner than later. Quote
Rocky P Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago @Gerry Hamilton @Bobby Burton could this be a disgruntled booster leaking stuff to force a change? Quote
