I guess I didn't recognize how impressive it was at the time, but from this angle it's undeniably an impressive throw. Perhaps one of the most impressive tosses he has hard this season.

The offense’s 4th quarter EPA was nearly .7….Elite level play is typically around .25. Some crazy good offense in the 4th quarter

Take one of those tight ends off the field and start slinging it. Too many blitzes can be disguised with all those people in the box. Spread it out and let the QB and line know who is coming.

I mean this dude wasn’t getting first overall mocks just because his last name is manning. It’s crazy how easily people on here have forgotten that since he doesn’t look like a heisman candidate this year.

You said this perfectly ! 🤘🏻

The live game angle showed Wingo having to slow down so it’s low hanging fruit for the cloud yellers. It’s one thing to critique and recognize ineffective parts of his game. It’s another to throw him out with the proverbial bath water. My primary concerns for him are not in the physical traits department.

@CJ Vogel - Do you think they need to move away from 12 personnel and just go with 10 and 11? Because being in 12 isn't providing much more protection for the QB and they aren't being much of a threat in the passing game either. I know Sark loves 12 personnel but it might be time for him to sideline that for a bit.

The most impressive throw I’ve seen this season was the Livingstons TD on the rollout right…elite!  There aren’t 10 QBs in the NFL who can make that throw.

Only the throw to Livingstone against OU (rolling right for a key first down when we were backed up) may compete with the one above.

Or, the dime he dropped to Endries against tOSU between the corner and Safety over the top for 30+ yards.

The throw above reminds me of the throw against Florida where he sidestepped an oncoming defender while rolling left, and dropped a TD dime to Wingo.

For all the criticism Arch has received (some deserved), he has made some of the most elite throws in college football as well.  Some jaw dropping arm talent.

They really need to scrap it. Any time I see Spencer Shannon jump offsides, hold or straight whiff on a block I wonder why we even bother considering we use him as a 6th olineman instead of like an actual tight end. I'd be willing to bet every dollar that I own that Alabama's LT has more targets than Shannon. Having him out there effectively turns it to a 9 vs 11 game when we're on offense.

Go shopping for OL....help the guy out

I know people seem to think they'll do this in the portal window, but I don't know if they will. It needs to be a priority. Better evals, etc.

I think I heard one of the OTF guys calling for more 11 personal the other day.

I still think the jury is out on Arch but man there is progress be honest. Makes some great throws. But misses some easy ones. That is what makes it so puzzling.

But behind that OL , evaluations are hard . But he is tough as nails and can run. And given the time you can see the potential. Throws great on the run. A decent running game would help him of course. And receivers being more consistent catching aka Wingo. We all now know this disaster was caused by wrong off season moves. Hopefully corrected in a couple of months.
