We expect the elusiveness with the legs, but that toughness to stand in the pocket and be able to deliver while taking them big boy hits is elite. GREAT focus on his part. Quote

Id stick with the last five which is the best I think Texas has to offer. Goosby, Hutson, Robertson, Campbell and Baker. Id prefer stroh over Brooks at guard. I think connor Stroh is a better guard than Nick Brooks no doubt about it. DO, I’m with you here. The LG position has presented the biggest question all season. Neto is one part of it but also no Robertson, particularly given Hutsons work having been at Guard leading into the season. The Brooks decision makes little sense and even less so now. I’d go Stroh over Brooks if we need to play one. 1 Quote
HTXHorn Posted yesterday at 05:20 PM Posted yesterday at 05:20 PM (edited) Currently watching the UGA/Miss St game and Georgia just recorded their 9th sack of the season. Their. 9th. Sack. I’m more concerned that our secondary is healthy and the pass defense shows up. Edited yesterday at 05:21 PM by HTXHorn Quote
Beldar Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Georgia looked a lot like the Georgia we know. They destroyed State today. Quote
thatdude2 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Why would you blitz Arch after looking at those numbers? It’s better to simulate pressure and disguise coverages Edited 13 hours ago by thatdude2 Quote

Unless you can bring 2+ free rushers in his face when blitizing it makes no sense to blitz Arch. He's not really affected by pressure, especially if it comes from a single guy. Quote

I will say that Georgia does not have the personell that OSU does. They got guys but they can definitely be had in the secondary. Quote

Two of their guys had like 8-9 of their 13 sacks against us. Secondary for them is a weak point and banged up. They also lost one of their best DL for the season last week, I believe. In saying that, Kirby Smart is a great coach, despite what people think of him and he'll have something dialed up to get his team over the hump and make it difficult. I'm not worried about what they've done so far, compared to what they'll do against us. Plus it's in Athen's, we haven't played well on the road this year at all. We're a Stoops bad decision and miraculous come back from being 0-4 on the road this year. I truly hope things have turned the corner, but we'll see. They got a week to get everyone rested and healed up, which will help, imo. I also think they have the current best group of OL out there right now, just a shame it took them this long to figure it out. Moving Milwee back to the booth seems to have helped Sark stop forcing something that isn't working. Quote

It’s better to simulate pressure and disguise coverages Depends on what offense we run. If we run Sarks traditional offense that’s more compact and tight you can do both effectively because it’s easier to do so. If he’s running the more spread offense that he ran vs Vandy which fits our personnel better it’s harder for teams to simulate the pressure because they can’t disguise it as well Quote

Hopefully, Arch's legs & a better fg kicker lead to more than 6 pts after outgaining Georgia by 200 yds. Quote

I personally hope we run nothing from either Georgia game last year because it didn’t really work and won’t work with this team. Quote

In the championship game, we went up and down the field on them but couldn't finish in the red zone. Ole Miss has fasted on spreading Georgia out and hitting them in the middle of the field where the linebackers have vacated and then working them over with timely QB runs. Quote

But as a whole we didn’t. Quote
