@Jeff Howe, it just seems that the coaching staff at times is going through the motions.  I'm probably wrong - I hope I am - but the cohesiveness isn't there.  No fire in the belly.  This will always boil down to coaching, and I am not dwelling on the HC other than managing assistant coaches and coordinators in whatever way necessary to make Texas get over the hump. Something is broken, and quite frankly Sark needs to get his head out of the playbook and head coach.

Also someone made a comment on the post game live stream. Texas A&M, OU and Tech are all going to be in the playoffs and Texas is not. That stings more than it should.

The problem isn't Flood or the OL. It's Sark's scheme, it's been said many times and none more so than Gerry. We could get rid of Flood and maybe that is the right move, who knows. The problem starts with Sark. 

His example of Elko building an identity in two years at A&M and Sark in year 5 still has no identity. They don't run the ball well, the passing game works...some of the time and your blocking is spotty. 

Until Sark figures that out, it won't matter who is coaching OL or even playing there. The buck stops and starts with him.

17 total rushing attempts ain’t gonna win the game. Tony Hills has been beat this drum loudly and rightfully so, run the damn ball. Lean on them all game. CJ Allen went down early.  Run right at his replacement. Target weaknesses/advantages. That’s all Georgia did, they threw away from Manny against soft coverages and made their 3rd downs manageable. Why weren’t we targeting the middle of the field where their LBs were vacating when blitzing? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

We were running the ball really well early, I was actually surprised and then we just went pass happy. I thought Sark needed to go more ground and pound while it was working. Was very weird to see, imo.

3rd and 11 a qb draw? Sums it all up while Kirby goes for the kill. Whatever is going on with Sark needs to be addressed soon for the sake of the program I'll stop there. Truly embarrassing and no excuses needed anymore.

When Sark gets scared and panics he neglects basic run game, relies on the pass then gets exotic with reverses, QB powers etc rather than lining up and taking the 2-4 yards on the ground to keep shorter down and distance and keep moving the chains.

Last night, I watched my son and his 10u football team go pull off an upset in the semis down in Houston. Several of them playing sick, including mine. They gave everything against a much bigger and dominant team. The coaches adjusted mid game and won.

This is my biggest complaint about Sark. He does not adjust well in games. There's zero consistency. It happens occasionally but rarely in big games and not often enough when losing. He already shot down a coordinator. Until proven otherwise, Sark will win a lot of games and run a clean program, but he won't get a Natty.

The bottom line is every season since Sark has arrived the discipline on this team has deteriorated.  Evidence is penalties have gone up every season.  Sark is made out to be a quarterback whisperer and offensive guru.   Id argue he is neither.  QE development wasnt very good, and Arch has been behind where he should be IMO.  The offense itself is designed as finesse instead of physical.  That leads to thinking Texas will not be a physical unit that can run between the tackles (soft oline non physical rbs).  PK and secondary coaches are not on the same page.  PK runs a soft defense ( bend dont break nonsense).  This leaves his defense on the field for excessive amounts of time, which in turn means the Texas offense has less opportunity to make substantial drives. It also wears out the defensive players after a few games.  Dbs are playing beyond the line of gain allowing a ton of first downs.  These issues have been an issue for every game this season.  UGA just highlighted them.  I would also argue that the above has been an ongoing issue for multiple seasons.  Teams take on the coaches persona to a degree and by that i would say there is little heart, little fight, and little want to.  By no means advocating for wholesale change, however there does need to be some shakeup.  Continuity is great if its working, its insane if you continue to have the same issues without addressing them.

After his initial script of plays is exhausted, Sark's offense had about as much thought and continuity as you'd find at your average intramural game. There is too much going on during the game for Sark the head coach to focus on what to do offensively. We ran the ball quite well in the first quarter, but then abandoned it. Why??? Because Sark the Head Coach wasn't able to step back and see the big picture. Instead Sark the Offensive Coordinator panicked and it was "bombs away" as usual

Furthermore, I am so tired of this "bend, but don't break" bull s*"t defense I may burn all of my burnt orange gear. (Believe me that would rival the Aggie bonfire!!!) Our secondary was useless for the first two series they played 10 yards off the LOS and then backed up. An easy 5-8 yard completion every time. After those series we pressed them at the line and amazingly it was 14-10 going into the 4th quarter. Then after we close the game our "bend, but don't break" b.s. allows Georgia to control the ball for probably 12 straight minutes (thanks to the onside kick that, amazingly, Sark said they practiced for) and put the game away. We're leading the nation in sacks so you know the QB won't have time to accurately  throw intermediate to deep routes.  Use that to your advantage. Wouldn't you call that a form of "complementary football?" 

Isn't it amazing that you can watch other teams go an entire half, if not a game without a false start penalty? And didn't we all know when the flag was thrown on Niblett's long return in the 2nd quarter that Warren Roberson had been flagged for either holding or a block in the back? It was game changing as the return had  breathed new life into us. But instead it cost us 50 yards  and backed us up to the 11 yard line. The fact that Warren Roberson is still playing Special Teams and why the OL has so many false start penalties are proof that there is no discipline/accountability on the team. I guess that is part of the "culture" Sark is fostering.

@Jeff Howe tell if im crazy, I didn't have an issue with Sarks game plan last night. He schemed alot of things open and Arch was hitting the guys in the hands, and they dropped it. If I had one gripe it would be you could say he got away from the run. My biggest gripe were the drops, the penalties and the soft ass coverage from the corners thats been discussed over and over again. Catch the damn ball! I watched Colin get held all night long. Trey Moore was held multiple. DeAndre was held on the pick. Call the game equal. And for the love of God, if you’re going to recruit man corners. Put them in position to play man. If you get beat over the top, you get beat.
