    The odd thing is that OTF has been adamant for weeks that Texas was in the top 2. Either (a) something dramatically changed in the last 24 hours, (b) OTF’s information was off, or (c) this is a smokescreen. I think (c) is highly unlikely.

    Yeah, this is where I am too. I have no problem with the question, and some players probably would try to answer it. But I’ve seen Arch in enough media sessions to know that he’s too savvy for that. He’d probably say something like “I’m just focused on making this team the best it possibly can be.”

    I’m more excited about R Brown than almost any other transfer. He’s exactly the sort of piece that Sark weaponizes to perfection. I think he could add a Jaydon Blue element to this offense

    What exactly has either player done to suggest they don’t have “five-star character”? Royal is committed to Texas and has been transparent every step of the way! Sales has literally done nothing other than take visits and try to decide which school is the best fit for him. The only thing you’ve done in this thread is impugn their character based on nothing but innuendo and your own impatience.

    It’s crazy to me that Zina, Justus Terry, Brandon Baker, Cooper, Townsend are all ranked ahead of D Williams. I get that he had a down year, but remember that this is a guy Sark once projected to be a first rounder. It remains to be seen if he’ll ever return to his 2024 form. But none of those other guys have played as much or as impressively as Williams at his best. I do think all of those other players have the potential to rocket up the list, but I wouldn’t put any of them—including Baker—ahead of D Williams yet.
