Anm, Vandy and blowU ahead of us even though we beat them while 2 of our losses are tot he number 1 and 3 team is wild….. it really sucks we slipped up versus Florida of all teams this year.

Yep, Texas is being punished for the Florida loss because while they beat some teams above, no one has as bad a loss on their resume.

I’d argue alabamas loss to fsu is worse

And Georgia should really be ranked second which they will be after conference title games. So we will have beaten three teams ahead of us with losses to only No. 1 and No. 2. outside of Florida.

Just run the list of who everyone has played and it’s clear that wins/losses are the only factor. Texas has played #1,3,7,8,13. No one else is even close.  We went 3-2 against that list.

The correct placement would have been for Texas to move up as many spots as A&M moves back. Which would have put Texas at 12.

Ya’ll think the AP and Coaches polls are bad I read earlier that the Athletic moved us down 5 spots.

Never schedule a big time out of conference game again. Finish up with the home games against Ohio state and Michigan and be done with it.

This poll is ridiculous on so many levels. In addition to Texas, how can anyone look at resume and put Notre Dame ahead of Alabama. Both 2-loss teams. They do it because they aren't looking at the resume - they're looking at eye candy.  Is ND a more complete team than Alabama?  Probably.  But, who has proven it on the field against top competition.  Alabama.  ND hasn't.  I'm not an Alabama supporter, but it's just another example of the stupidity of these polls.  So, are we being penalized because we let Vandy come back (aided significantly by terrible calls by the refs)?  I'm confident we would have had enough votes to be ahead of Vandy if we had won by 21. Just more stupidity.  Diego is a beast and he - like Skat for ASU last year - will keep Vandy in every game they play.

Yup. The hate on us is real…. Anyone else beats the #3 team regardless who it was I bet moved up more than 2 spots in any other poll
