David Edwards Posted yesterday at 09:36 AM Posted yesterday at 09:36 AM The Eyes of Texas and the healing power of Almighty God be upon Jordan. May the miraculous work through the doctors and his own will to recover, knowing that true and complete healing comes from above. Til Gabriel blows his horn and with respect for all faiths, I ask this in Jesus name. Amen. 2 Quote

40AcresDust Posted yesterday at 12:14 PM Posted yesterday at 12:14 PM @Bobby Burtonhas there been any word about how the first round of surgeries went last night? Quote
PaulieD Posted yesterday at 12:28 PM Posted yesterday at 12:28 PM 12 hours ago, Bobby Burton said: Earlier today around 1pm on his ranch, Jordan Shipley, the former Texas wide receiver, was involved in an accident. Shipley escaped the accident with the help of a worker nearby but he was severely burned in the process. Shipley was care-flighted to Dell-Seaton Hospital in Austin and is currently undergoing the first of what will likely be several surgeries ahead. Please pray for Jordan and his family, as well as his dad Bob Shipley, who is on the way to the hospital to be with Jordan and his family now. Thank you. 🙏 View full news story 🙏 Quote

Orange Guitar Posted yesterday at 02:15 PM Posted yesterday at 02:15 PM I woke up with Jordan and Coach Shipley on my mind today. As an older guy and a grandfather, I know he is the rock for his family! May the peace of God rule in your heart and in your family. 1 Quote

Me too...this injury will result in a trying and painful period in Jordan's life. He is a tough kid though who knows how to come back from injury. God bless him. 1 Quote
jkates Posted yesterday at 03:13 PM Posted yesterday at 03:13 PM Praise God that the worker showed up on a day he wasn't supposed to be there. 1 Quote
AntonioGra8 Posted yesterday at 03:16 PM Posted yesterday at 03:16 PM I graduated from Texas in December of 2009. Loved the Colt-Shipley connection, still wear my #8 jersey for Jordan all the time. Was a great player at Texas and did everything the right way. HookEm Jordan! Get well soon brother, we're praying for you and your amazing family. 🙏🏼🤘🏼 Quote

ChanmanV Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) I can’t believe Jordan was 10 miles away from the worker that eventually helped him to the hospital (according to his wife). How he was able to get to the worker with the severity of his of his condition is miraculous. It shows that warrior spirit he’s always had. Edited 3 hours ago by ChanmanV Quote
