We’ve gotten some with more on the way. Every entrance into our neighborhood… you have to go down a large dip, so we are all frozen in due to it being so icy. It is 16 with a wind chill of 2.IMG_5840.thumb.jpeg.5206e426f95a35fe856a6c4add75e3a8.jpegIMG_5842.thumb.jpeg.1daf8d3a5d64606602b3efb7421b5e96.jpeg

None here so far.  But glad to be back in Texas to get away from the winters in some of the places we lived for awhile.  I loved selling my snowblower.  However, we are not totally safe.

Immediately below is our house here in 2021.  Below that is not the usual, but not totally uncommon, large snow fall in Virginia when we lived there.

A little chilly here in the Arizona desert with 40 F for the low, mid-60's and up for the highs.  Ten day forecast attached.  Might have to skip wearing shorts early in the day.

The cold front started a couple hundred miles east of here, so we're good - even have yellow wildflowers starting to bloom in the front yard.

Sympathy for those getting hit by the ice especially - lived thru two days of -42 degrees F in northern Idaho one winter so even the weeks of 110 - 115 F in July and August are bearable by comparison.

Just be careful on that.  Your car will slide and if you walk on it you might do some Minnesota Break Dancing.   🤣

When we lived out of Texas I used an awful lot of salt on our driveway and sidewalks in the winter.  One driveway was on a steep slope and forget it trying to go up or down when there was any ice.  That salt really helped.

Feels like -9f here in Toronto. I keep a shovel in my car all winter.

Absolutely no way I could live in that.

I just walked around on it for a little bit (short/small steps). It’s thin but it is certainly slick.
