Smart kid (or agent) leveraging the portal for a larger signing bonus. Really no reason not to in his position. Edited yesterday at 01:01 AM by Horn n KS 1 Quote

Might be a bit of a stupid question, as I'm still learning about everything baseball but if he's a first round draft pick, is he worth pursuing? Didn't Texas get burned last off-season by two guys who were draft picks and said they weren't going, only to then end up signing? 1 Quote

Yes we lost 2 guys that we got in the portal to the draft last year Quote

I also think we lost one or two high school guys who were drafted fairly low but went pro anyway. Quote

I’m not mad at the kid and appreciate what he tried to do here, but we need to get better in certain areas and this is one of them. I wish him well Quote

And it's hard to pay much for a platoon guy. Best of luck to him that he gets to be an everyday starter somewhere and figures out how to hit lefties. Quote
.45s Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Anybody know anything about incoming high schooler Cohen Tigerina? @Blake Munroe @Jeff Howe @CJ Vogel Saw something on Twitter about the incoming class of high schoolers and saw a name I do not recall checking on before- Cohen Tigerina from Florida. He is listed as an outfielder. I did some research and his high school stats were not very good. His only reasonable stat was 14 stolen bases. Quote
