Quinncent McManning, Jr. Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Assumed this was fake when it posted yesterday. We haven’t averaged over 10 arrests per year that is crazy 1 Quote
hookem1014 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Let’s just throw away the whole state of Florida Quote

Paul Jespersen Posted 23 minutes ago Posted 23 minutes ago I don't buy 291 arrests here. I know things happen and don't percolate up, but that's a big number - we would have heard more noise... maybe if you are including parking tickets and whatnot, but it explicitly states "arrests." Pretty funny, but not buying it. I just ran it through grok and got the following as part of its answer (which was not real numbers): Quote "What the actual data shows There is no single comprehensive, official nationwide database of college football player arrests since 2000 that matches or approaches these totals. Tracking relies on media reports, public records, and sites like the now-inactive or limited ArrestNation. Available compilations are incomplete (they miss unreported cases and undercount smaller programs with less media coverage) and cover shorter windows. Key examples: Over roughly 5 years ending around 2015 (ArrestNation data compiled by reporter Mike Rosenberg and covered by 247Sports/FOX Sports): More than 900 reported FBS arrests total. The highest single-program totals were far lower than the graphic’s multi-decade claims: Washington State: 31 Florida: 24 Georgia / Texas A&M: 22 each Oklahoma: 21 Several others in the teens to low 20s (e.g., Florida State and Tennessee at 19). Florida under Urban Meyer (roughly 2005–2010): At least 31 arrests of football players in six seasons (many minor, such as underage drinking or disorderly conduct; some more serious). A separate New York Times review of the 2008 national championship roster found that 41 of 121 players were arrested at some point in their careers or afterward (including post-college), not solely while on the team or limited to the college years." Good to see Ags and Sooners keeping good company... 🤘 Quote
