Lighten up on Dad.  He had a bad day with his emotions for his son that hopefully doesn't repeat itself, especially for his son's sake.  He's heavily invested in his boy and is worrying too much about his future and being unable to control things for him.  This is a moment to realize it's out of his hands now and up to his son to face the adversity, work even harder and eventually he will rise through it .  Competition is always going to be there at any school and the pain being felt now is just in this season.   Encourage him and be his best cheerleader, but let him face these things knowing he will rise above it in time  and with hard earned character gained in the process.

I'm willing to bet Jr reached out to Sr. and told him to delete the post because he's still on the roster. Very immature for a grown man to crash out on social media about a team his son is still actively playing for. If he does end up transferring, he's going to have a clause in his contract with language for pops.
