Miserable fanbase

As a Texas fan I sincerely pray we fall back again into irrelevancy just to spite the many miserable losers that I've seen after today's win.
Criticism is one thing, and lord knows we got things to critique about this team both offense and special teams.
The name calling and absolutely brain dead analysis made by frustrated losers that have nothing better to do than to take out their frustrations based on how a team of 18-22 year olds play is genuinely disgusting.
Shows have become unwatchable because of the chat.
Threads too have become unreadable.
And I understand that the criticism by OTF of the team is more than fair and always done from a professinal point of view, but clearly most people on the fanbase can't seem to grasp the message that's being sent and the gravity of it.

Texas needs to clean some s#]t up and fast if we want to win against the good offenses that we're gonna face after OU, but jesus are yall making everything seems so much dire than it actually is.
Lot of yall need to go out and take a walk to clear your head before posting on here or on the OTF chat.

It would be great if OTF required all YouTube posters to be subscribers for at least 24 hours prior!  The stupid troll posting is driving me away from the post game shows!!

hiding the chat is an option too on YouTube. 

With that being said fans are just frustrated. Nothing we do looks or feels "easy" and they know that will cost us a game or two. 

Fans SHOULD watch what they say but Collin Simmons SHOULD refrain from "simulating using the restroom" 

This is just part of being a Texas fan imo

Just saw someone call the QB "Brain dead".
Youtube chat is a hell hole.
Twitter is even worse.

Winning is supposed to be fun.

I already don't look at youtube chat but I'd like to watch coffee & football on monday morning after a big win in Neyland against a top 15 team (And a top 5 defense, let's be honest about their talent) and rejoice in Texas being 4-0... instead all I get is frustrated people projecting their anxieties onto everyone else.
The problems are clear for this Texas team, no need to overboard and be miserable.

TL;DR:

• Winning is supposed to be fun, a lot of yall are making it miserable cause you're anxious about whether Texas will get it done this year or not
• We can critique and not be miserable and not go overboard with the "analysis", if we can even call it that
• Love this team but god are some of yall making it hard to follow *any* content regarding Texas football with your negativity
• This doesn't really have anything to do with OTF, although I'll say that clearly some fans are not smart enough to pick up on the nuance of the analysis done by some people at OTF

I get it . But criticism is warranted within reason of course. We have a lot to work on.  But 4-0 is awesome. I think we just all want a real chance to win it all. And frankly right now nowhere close imo. But a long way to go.

As far as the gestures they were wrong and bad. By Simmons and Brown. Simmons has apologized and will learn. If a Tennessee player did that to us what would be the reaction? Never let somebody take away your passion. We all can agree to disagree.

The frustration comes from knowing LSU, Ole Miss and Florida are coming. They are also coming because the expectations for this team are to win it all. They don’t look like that team.

My point is that a lot of what I see from people is straight up not "critcism".
I'm the first person to be critical of anything this team does.
I want them to win and win with style.
Got no problem with actual objective analysis of the game and of the performances. Never had, never will.

I "clock out" on Sundays from all of the content just for a palate cleanse

I don't really get what's hard to understand that the reasons for the anxieties are pretty clear to me.
You can still try and not be miserable about it and ruin everyone else's experience.
What's being miserable gonna do about it?
Do you think the team on offense is playing badly on purpose?
You think sudden magical changes will make every issue disappear?
Not attacking you personally, just trying to get my point across

Yeah I hear you. Expectations are high. I very seldom worry about comments we all get in our feelings sometimes. Still this site does the best job, while allowing people to have some free thoughts.

Don't think I've watched much content at all this week just cause everyone has been so insufferable at the start of the week.
My point wasn't about what I need to change cause I clearly can handle my worries about this team much better, it's about calling out a fanbase that is just miserable a lot of the times, when instead should be enjoying every single win a bit more.
Trust me, you can critique and not be miserable and enjoy wins all the same. I do it all the time.

Your questions just add to the frustration. Nobody got up today and thought Texas played bad on purpose. It is completely asinine to think that way. The frustration grows because there are no magical changes. Texas has to play OU, go to LSU and host Florida and Ole Miss. The last two teams look much better than Texas offensively. Texas can’t win a national championship as they currently look. That was the goal for this team.

I'll say this.  I'd rather be 4-0 (1-0 in the SEC) and not peaking in September than peaking in September then fading in October and November and out of contention for anything meaningful in December and/or January.

I get what you're saying.
Guess I'm just not wired to think that way.
The only thing Texas has shown me so far is that we got maybe the best defense in college football, we're clutch when we need to and that we're way too inconsistent on offense.
Call it optimism but I've seen nothing from this Texas team that actually worries me in a "this can't be fixed this year" way.
Last year I thought that way.
Last year I thought that we had a bad OL and no running game and a subpar receiving core (And Arch was still up and down but he did get a lot better from game 1 to 13) and the issues on the defense from a DC POV were pretty obvious.
Don't see that this year.
Could it happen that we never put it together? Yes, I'll be sad and frustrated when that happens. I've seen nothing that can't be fixed though, and that makes me a lot more optimistic and less miserable than some other people, I guess.

Biggest bunch of fair weather band wagon jumpers, they all think they are Nick Saban. Betting most could not stick their thumb up their butt with both hands.
