lol It might be this guy or it may not...

but the GLAZEEEEE fans give people who have any possibility of becoming a Longhorn, BEFORE THEY ARE IN UNIFORM, is crazyyyy lol

It’s him. Visited Virginia earlier in the week. His younger brother is also a receiver and currently committed to USC. Texas has offered him, too.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I feel like this won't be the only WR Texas will be going after even if they land him.

Surely not. He seems like a productive, reliable receiver but clearly does not fill the speed void in the WR room.

I hope we aren’t battling Virginia for our top line WR next season. Need at least. A second round pick

Another arm chair AP coach of the year strikes again on this board. If sark and coach jackson like him enough that’s all you need to worry about.

I think posters are used to the type of receivers that we needed for the offense we had to run because of Quinn. Not the one we will see moving forward.

Does this guy truly move the needle in the wr room though? Just a genuine question

Just watching these highlights, it looks like very good ball skills, good size, great hands and knows how to find holes in zone. Doesn't look like the stretch the field deep threat. Played a lot of slot at Stanford. I would love the take if we get him.  Seems like a very reliable 3rd down and redzone threat.  Kind of reminds me a bit of Jordan Whittington play style.  Doesn't go down on first contact, fights through traffic and ultra reliable.  We could use someone like him.

Seems they want the sexy portal pick ups more than anything else. The AD’s with two national title rings and the clutch gene or the Isiah bond with the blazing speed.

Which we have stretch the field types. What we don’t have is a zone receiver like this guy seems to be to get you the first downs and move the chains underneath. He fits a role that our staff might be looking for

Did you watch the highlight reel? The answer is pretty obvious after. Even more obvious is that the staff clearly wants him. Sherlock's deduction ability not required for this feat of having some sense. In the absence of such, I suppose you can just say everyone is glazing and then ask how you should feel about the player.

He's clearly a very good football player. Can track and snag the football from multiple angles. Couple that with Arch's ability to drop it in the bucket, A Johntay Cook TD in the redzone early in the season comes to mind, and this kid will be aces for the offense. He's clearly not a burner, but isn't loafing at Collin Johnson speeds either. Not sure how anyone could be upset with this take.
