Moderators Blake Munroe Posted 12 hours ago Moderators Posted 12 hours ago For those not aware, Quentin Jammer joined us on Coffee and Football for over 30 minutes. He told some great stories, answered questions from the chat, discussed the current state of the Texas program and much more. Here is the episode of C&F, which should start right when the interview begins: 7 Quote
Drunk randoke Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago He needs to be on again. Once was not enough. Loved him saying his recruiter at Texas sucked ha. Loved his liberal use of sh*t and bullsh*t as a curser myself. Great Longhorn, great player. And I love how these guys love Coach Akina. 12 Quote
GetHooked Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago He said college receivers were easy for him. I thought he was going to mention Roy Williams even though they were teammates. 2 1 Quote
Moderators Blake Munroe Posted 11 hours ago Author Moderators Posted 11 hours ago And if you’d like to share on X, I cut up just the interview. 7 Quote

We will definitely get him back on. I thought it was funny that he hit me up saying he was just getting started and would have went much longer. 6 Quote
TexasEx01 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Love the interview. Good to hear from Quentin. Punishing physical db. Loved watching him play. Killer eyebrows too 😁 3 Quote
Ace Recruiter Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Great interview. People at the gym must have thought I was crazy watching me crack up multiple times. He needs to be a regular! Thanks fellas 3 Quote
Roy Hinojosa Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I laughed out loud on my walk many times during that interview. My favorite part was when he said he put belt to ass on Quandre when they were in high school. 1 1 Quote

The Mackovic staff recruited Quentin. That group didn't endear itself to high school coaches and recruits across the state. 3 Quote
Tuco Ramirez Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago One of the greats! And Jammer is the perfect name for a DB. 2 Quote

Drunk randoke Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Rod B, Quentin, it shines through how much these guys truly love Coach Akina. I’m so glad he’s back home. 4 Quote
Drunk randoke Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I’ll keep saying this thank you Bobby for creating this place. It’s home for me now. 5 Quote
Quinncent McManning, Jr. Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Thanks for getting him on. Fun interview. Between him and Diggs, 2 of the best at dbu with two of the most ferocious tackles in UT history. 3 Quote
aaronstein5 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Who is better Jammer or Westbrook? Both guys were hit you in the mouth players! 1 Quote

To me he is the guy all others are measured by but I would yield to Rod Babers on the answer to this question. 1 Quote

I may have started it, but everybody here is what makes this place great IMO. I mean that, not only for CJ, Gerry, Jeff, Blake, etc., but also the folks who post who are both knowledgeable and civil. 6 Quote

Hey Bobby speaking of posting topics, when I went to post a new topic, a message popped up saying “this option is not accessible for your account”. Just wondering if there was anything I could do about it. Thanks and hookem! 1 Quote

It’s funny, when I was growing up down that way Angleton was kinda the sketch town on the edges of the greater Lake Jackson, Clute and Freeport Metroplex. In fact, we called the local community college UCLA for University of Clute, Lake Jackson and Angleton. Now Angleton is the nice place to be with the good schools and athletic programs as new neighborhoods are built up along 288 and the bordering town are built out and aging. Quote
HDub1995 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Was one of the best episodes you guys have done. Great work! Quote
