I know personnel is different, what what are we doing. No motion, no RB involved in pass game, no intermediate game. Basically throwing deep hoping for explosives. It’s unbelievable. Sark has abandoned a proven system. 2 minutes ago, Jeff Howe said: It seems as though, instead of ramping up the things that make his offense tough to stop, given the turnover, Sark has given the offense little margin for error, trying to beat teams straight up. The offense doesn't have an identity. Other than Arch's legs, there's nothing they do well enough to lean on right now. We’ve never had an identity on offense under Sark unless you consider underperforming it’s identity 1 Quote
watty7796 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If Texas is smart they will start using that younger talent across the board. This year may be a rebuilding year but they sure could get the youngsters a bunch of run and see where things shake out. The guys that they are leaning on now are 3 and 4 year guys and ovviosly not the answer. Quote

On the last touchdown drive, Arch using his legs and finding guys off schedule was working well. We should roll Arch more to give the threat of his legs to get guys open. This offense is boring. selfdm Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Imagine what this would have been like if they had their full defensive line this game. They had like 3 guys out, including Banks the 1st rounder. 1 2 Quote

We will continue to force a useless Ryan Niblett out there 1 Quote
selfdm Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) @Jeff Howe can you recall a Texas team that had as much offseason hype to turn out this dissapointing so far? Edited 2 hours ago by selfdm Quote

He might have just made some philosophy mistakes this offseason. Quote

"Staggering" is how I'd describe this loss. Is it time to stop watching the games and find something else to do on Saturday? Quote
HDub1995 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Also — where is Justus Terry? Remember when he was going to be a pretty big piece this season? So many questions. 2 Quote

This is starting to feel like 2010. Not the 5-7 part, but the fact that the product hasn't been anywhere close to expectations. 1 Quote

For the rest of us, don't worry about how the committee will view this loss. Worry about whether or not Texas shows up for a fight against Oklahoma. It is over… we have to win out to even make playoffs. We won’t 1 Quote
HawkDriver Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Where college football is and with the resources Texas has, there is zero excuse to field a team with line play this bad, both sides. There is zero excuse to not have run game. And as much as sark makes, there is zero excuse to be this bad schematically. We look like a middling big 12 team with no run game playing an sec team. Texas fan in Georgia Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Arch holds the ball too long. The one play Caldwell was in, bang. Ball out first down. I’m just sayin. I’m not suggesting Caldwell should be starting, but he’s better than people thought he was , but bc he came from Troy, he’s not good enough to start. And Joey Aguilar wasn’t supposed to be good at Tennessee but look at him. There needs to be some evaluation of the coaching staff and it needs to start with AJ milwee. Just sitting here pondering everything about this game and this was another thought that came up. Are y’all really that sure Caldwell doesn’t give us the best chance to win? Quote

texcoyote15 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I’m not for sure what it takes to win consistently at Texas. I had given up that we would find out and then Sark gets here and gets killed his first year and then shows consistent improvement. Makes the playoffs the last two years, recruiting great, bringing in quality guys in the portal and everything trending up. All that and then we go into Ohio State ranked #1 and I’m thinking we finally found who can win at Texas. Lose a close game there and didn’t play our best and I’m still thinking ok we’re improving. Then we struggle with San Jose St, struggle with UTEP. Come into a 1-3 Florida and get completely manhandled. Now we are back to unsure who can go to the top at Texas and stay there. Maybe in this new college football world no team will consistently win. I don’t know. I hardly ever feel like our team comes out fired up and ready and jumps on an opponent and keeps that fire all day long. We usually play two good quarters. I never feel like we’re the best prepared, the most well coached. Sark always says the other team shows us something we hadn’t seen and it confused us or we have to play a cleaner game after the hundredth 12 penalty game. All that to say we’re back to way more questions than we have answers. I wouldn’t put any money that Sark is the man to take us and keep us to the top. Sorry post is so long. Just damn frustrated as usual. 1 Quote

I’m not sure why my expectations are always so high. 3 Quote

Our staff needs to do a complete re-evaluation of our roster. No one needs to feel safe and the portal should be encouraged. Quote
harveycmd Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Close to Ohio State. Weren't close to a bad Florida team five weeks later. Losers literally dominated us. Quote

There’s about 3 assistant coaches that shouldn’t be on the coaching staff next year. But continuity is oh so important 😵💫 1 Quote
