Really had a lot to say on Florida. Baugh best back in the country. And much praise for Philo the QB. He evidently had a great relationship with Sumrall at Tulane FWIW. https://x.com/Rivals/status/2106124046433955950?s=20

In the article he specifically mentioned Florida QB Philo. And how he could see himself playing 2 years with him FWIW. Also saw where Sark was at Brother Martin today with Chris Jackson. Not sure if they are at his game tonight. But LSU staff will be there from what I read. Coach O was at Brother Martin as well. Crazy but who knows until it happens.

According to Ross Dellenger they are closer than ever now. The Yahoo article has the details. Just get the $ right and pretty much will be done. https://x.com/RossDellenger/status/2105411439468900593?s=20

Another aspect I thought about and not just about this situation. Many get NIL $ not just Rev Share. So they are representing brands, companies , businesses etc. Sure they have clauses in those contracts etc. And Texas is out there trying to get more businesses involved to help all athletes NIL. So any unnecessary negative publicity can unfortunately affect those businesses etc. So I'm sure now a lot of athletes are more careful what they post on issues etc. And how they conduct themselves. Again not piling on here, just a reality of representing companies etc. Hopefully all is well, learn and move on.

Seriously CDC probably needed to address it. Sure his email box was flooded. Maybe now after another day of press it is over. Maybe by making the statement he actually helped stop the mess faster, who knows. It's over now and hope all involved the best going forward. Back to ball and griping about our offense😂

Without a doubt and donors too. Or Greg Sankey as well. And this certainly didn't help either taking a shot at former UT player Brian Jones. https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/watch-yo-mouth-colin-simmons-020255014.html

Usually if it's a big deal recruit Hayes amps it up more. Just says notable. Still wouldn't be surprised if not today with him , then later. Will see!

I just hate the noise for CS. Man he does a lot of great things with his Foundation and more. I just don't want his play overshadowed by this that's all. Learn move on. I wonder if Chris Cole from Georgia getting SEC defender of the week was a message. Because no way anybody should have gotten it but CS imo. No biggie but still.

Somebody needs to talk to Simmons .I Iike him great game. But doubling down here. Bad look. Maybe somebody needs to tell him BJ played at Texas. Smh

They are killing it this year. But they get plenty of ammo to choose from every week too😂.

Guess you haven't seen him . Pretty damn good no matter the offense. But Sark would screw it up no doubt anyway. Was halfway kidding but....

All I know is SEC Shorts has a lot of ammo for tomorrow's skit. Hopefully urinals won't be done but get ready😂. As well as Matt's Roll Call. Should be some funny stuff coming .

Hell I hope we get Kamario 😂

We do have to clean things up. Penalties discipline etc. The crude gestures and more. Then I see tape of UT Asst coach trying to run in Tennessee tunnel after a game ball 😂. On top of Nansen and other issues. I hope Sark or somebody lays that hammer down. We are still in great shape if we quit shooting ourselves in the foot. To be 4-0 after less than stellar performances. Tells you we can still be great if we ever consistently put it together.

Lance Jackson . Needs more props. What a game. Herby gave him praise all day. Much deserved!!

So true! .My only gripe is probably not have Wingo out there. I like him , he had a good game. Just feel there are better hands in that situation. But that illegal kick was wicked for sure.

Yeah I hear you. Expectations are high. I very seldom worry about comments we all get in our feelings sometimes. Still this site does the best job, while allowing people to have some free thoughts.

I get it . But criticism is warranted within reason of course. We have a lot to work on. But 4-0 is awesome. I think we just all want a real chance to win it all. And frankly right now nowhere close imo. But a long way to go. As far as the gestures they were wrong and bad. By Simmons and Brown. Simmons has apologized and will learn. If a Tennessee player did that to us what would be the reaction? Never let somebody take away your passion. We all can agree to disagree. Imagine being OU right now😂

It's a win. But if we are realistic , there are many issues to fix. Some may not be fixable. But that really was ugly. A great team blows those guys out with any kind of decent offense. But I'll enjoy, but expectations are definitely lowered.

At least he knows where the LOS is 😂

    Nansen yikes. https://x.com/davideckert98/status/2103252349640991085?s=20

The Sooner message boards are on fire after hearing he was playing fullback . Wanna fire everybody. Thamel said MRI tomorrow but definitely out awhile, if not the season.
  24. TTown
Hate that for anybody. Wish him the best!

I mean that is fair. 4 years into the system and still the same questions. Then at times he is a world beater. Frustrating as hell. And yeah the excuses are getting old to be honest. Maybe this is just who he is . I still am willing to see it play out, and hopefully these things can be corrected. Still want to be fair because you can see the good as well. But it's evident we have to win in all 3 phases. No one person can carry this team like a Chambliss can for Ole Miss. But we have enough talent, and hopefully we put it together to take some pressure off. Will see.
