another site I was a member of for years (that's name has three numbers).

Those members are absolutely destroying each other over a comment Bijan made.  I still go on that site to tinker with the class calculator and happened to see the post.  It's been a while since I read those posts and my God, I'm glad I'm here and not there.  The moral high ground people on both sides are taking over on that site is just sad.  Somehow religion is being drug into it and insults are flying.  

Please don't make this post about Bijan's comments.  He referenced an old backyard football game called Smear the Qu**r.  He apologized for it.  It's over.

This is just a post of gratitude to all the members here and to Bobby and the staff for fostering such a better culture.

That old site bought out the worst in me and it's the opposite over here.

Texas football can be divisive enough without dragging politics, religion, etc into it (fire Flood! Hire an OC!).

There are a billion places online to go for that other stuff. I agree with you guys. Glad Bobby et al keep things Texas sports focused.

I left another site after 20 years because of the drama. It's exactly what happened to Hornfans. I don't care about your favorite movie list or other BS. And, no, you aren't right about everything all the time. Bobby and team are a million times more knowledgable and focus on actually talking ball and not much else. Guest hosts on podcast are tremendous players and coaches with real ties to Texas football. My head has never been clearer and I've felt much less stress. OTF is where it's at.

I’ve never been a member of multiple sites. I prefer one and this is it. Bobby, Gerry, Jeff, and CJ are the cream of the crop. I went from to 247, to IT, now here. Informative, and written in laymen’s terms so even a dummy like me can comprehend.

OTF has totally nailed this market. The videos are short, digestible, informative, but also funny and engaging. It’s all Texas all the time. The information is well-sourced without being reactive or rumor-mongering. The mods/show hosts are professional and laser-focused on their unique product.

Not going to bash other sites by name, but they are all some combination of off-topic, corny, boring, unappealing personalities, lazy reporting, or toxic. I’ve tried them all and this is far and away the best place to be. As long as Bobby and team keep this site going, I’ll be a subscriber for life.

OTF is by far and away the most professional and knowledgeable group in the biz. They don’t use hyperbole, they don’t burn their sources and they don’t rush to be first with a story at the expense of not being right or disrespectful to the subject matter. I was an OG on the competition, but left after a dispute with one of their mods. I prefer this site because we stick to sports and not gossip or pop culture. Plus it is more civil. The podcasts are also excellent. The former players are awesome for their insights. Marcus Meyer has added a ton to the discussions.  Tony Hills is tremendous too. Rod Babers comes up with data that I would never even think about. Love Stevie Lee and BRob. Both were badasses for us.

Been there. Won't name him... but I'm sure you had an issue with the same guy I did at OB. They also use stereotypical props to induce a larger viewership base instead of providing quality information with class and dignity. It's why I came here... even with our differences at times, the OTF staff moves with integrity and makes everyone feel welcomed.  I appreciate that... and a special shout out to Matthew.... fair and solid... Hard working.

I think we can all agree that Bijan is one of the most genuine and kind dudes that's ever been on the 40 acres, he'd never do something to upset someone on purpose.
Regardless, love how this site is all about football
