Man, they just can’t let this come close to opening the door for gambling by players. 
 

this is so much bigger than just Sorsby. I can’t see any institution allowing this. It would deal college sports a massive hit and might be a death blow for the NCAA. But it goes way beyond that. Vegas and betting sites stand to lose millions if people decide college sports is dirty. Think Vegas is going to stay out of this fight? 
 

then there’s the tv networks who stand to lose millions and maybe billions when advertisers won’t want their names associated with shady stuff. be knowing, those boys will be all over this deal. Sorsby must be a sacrificial lamb, even if you have sympathy for him. 
 

im not even sure NFL teams will want him?
