I know it's buried somewhere in this thread, but what happened with this OSU - Oregon broadcast?  I love it, why can't every game be broadcast in this manner (sans the camera work that periodically nods off to nothing)?

Something was up after he was listed as an “or” starter at WR3 week 1. My guess his he doesn’t have any chemistry with Mateer as he did Arch.

I’ve said OU doesn’t have the depth or game changing players this year.  They lose a lot on defense after this year.  If they go 8-4 or 7-5, does Arbuckle survive?  They lose their top 2 receivers after this year.  Who the hell is their QB next year?  Other than this year’s recruiting class, they haven’t recruited well or had much success in the portal the last few years.  I love that Venables extension more and more!!

You could argue Mateer looked better without his thumb.

At some point it has to be widely accepted that he's been awful since transferring to OU. Is there a worse quarterback against ranked opponents on a ranked team?

Might have challenged Brutus in a pushup competition, but outside of that... he's not winning anything.

As a Texas fan, I'm so glad Lebby left the OC gig he had at OU for Mississippi State.  That's the last time OU actually scared me.  Imagine Lebby's offense with BV's defenses post-2023...
