I riled some Tech fans up the other day (apparently) on X. None of them will explain to me the benefit for Texas to schedule this game. Its like they all got the same newsletter saying "schedule us now that the playing field is leveled." My response continues to be it's not as level as they think. IMO, the talent gap is still wide. 

They are beyond disingenuous. They keep acting like this is a Tech vs. Texas St/UTEP convo when they know it's Ohio St/Mich/ND, etc. that we're scheduling. 

Anything to deflect from the Sorsby debacle. Its nasty work. They want us to be their rival sooooooo bad. Its weird.

Turns into “oh shhh, didn’t think you would actually accept my challenge…. Now I’m screwed!”  Middle school stuff right here man.

Do they even have a qb week 1? Don’t think Hammond would be cleared yet? And tech keeps saying they will accept a punishment just don’t think it’ll be a full year. Be funny to accept this game and watch them change to “but but he should be suspended later in the year”

My view is call their bluff. But the terms are: they buyout the games. They pay for the venue. And Cody “big spender” Campbell pays us $50M. And throw in a softball pitcher of our choice. Why $50M? Why not. Otherwise it just doesn’t interest us.
