This board will not become a place where people can say stuff like this like it is an actual fact when they have absolutely zero insight. Didn’t mean for it to come off like that but when you see the product on the field plus the report the day of the miss st game, it’s hard to believe this guy is 100% focused on Texas football. Listening to his PC earlier doesn’t really instill any confidence. 2 Quote

Only someone with an axe to grind would not see the distinct difference. An ‘axe to grind’ is a funny accusation coming from someone who immediately jumped to name calling. Reporting what you hear, whether you agree with it or not….isn’t any different just because the platform is bigger. Your entire argument boils down to ‘it’s irresponsible when someone I don’t like reports something I don’t want to hear.’ Platform size doesn’t change whether something is a rumor, it only changes how loud your double standard looks. Yup. It sucks. Especially if it is all untrue. To be clear I dont doubt he is interested in the NFL, but I am hopeful he doesnt want to start that chapter until further down the line. Like after Arch or Dia lol Quote

How many years of high-level coaching do you think he has left in the tank? He's the GOAT but was smart (and humble enough) to retire at the very top. 3 Quote
drag worm Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Kiffin is proving to have been the better coordinator under Carroll. I'd take him in a second if Sark heads back to the NFL. 1 Quote

It’s not like only folks on this board believe sark could be leaving. There’s probably a team that feels they have a good chance at getting him. It’s not like Howard is somebody that doesn’t have anybody in the NFL he speaks to that probably led him to post the video he posted. 2 Quote
TTown Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I tend to believe he definitely heard something from someone who has some juice. I don't like him too much but I would assume he is dialed in nationally etc. There has been smoke with the NFL and other things that I won't bring up because that is unfair right now. But something is up and as long as you respectfully address it,shouldn't be a need to try and stop a discussion. Anyone can see things are amiss but time will tell. You always need a backup plan just in case. 3 Quote

I think offseason adjustments are needed but that’s every year. While not trying to be an alarmist about Sark leaving….First the Diana Rousini report. Now des howard talking about Sark being gone. Have heard many shows hinting…I know a lot of people want to think Diana is a “click bait” reporter, but she is not and even @Gerry Hamilton confirmed what she said was true. Des is Des, but he is not only one saying all of this. There is a lot of smoke here. Something to monitor. Would love for it to be untrue but with no focus on 2027 class, idk what to think. Im taking it all with a grain of salt but again something to monitor (I mean how can I take Des too serious with that hat lmao…fast forward to halfway thru video) https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRKHyHFDX7M/?igsh=ajQzM2JtY2RmcHJw did teams in the NFL watch this offense underperform?] 1 1 Quote

TTown Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Again whatever may really be going on, signing day is almost here this is not good on that regard. Of course if there is any truth to it , then all sides would want to get through signing day without any damage if possible. Then whatever happens happens. Edited 1 hour ago by TTown 1 Quote

If Dez had any journalistic integrity, he would have cited a source even if the source wished to remain anonymous. “A GM who wishes to remain anonymous said…” He’s just acting like a kid in junior high who has some juicy gossip, even if that gossip is entirely false. pskjace Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago This is what happens when you take some ugly losses in a season where the media hypes you up and when the expectations are what they are. Multiple reasons for it whether it be media folks with egg on their faces, agents, and everything in between. 1 Quote

Now you’re making assumptions because of a Dez narrative that doesn’t fit what you want to hear. I don’t want to hear it either but it’s social media, he doesn’t need to explain his source. If he does this Saturday on GameDay then something is smelly. Regardless, this is now the second time we’ve seen smoke in just a few weeks. Factor in the issues we’ve seen this season with penalties and his unwillingness to address them, along with what appears to me as a less than stellar game prep since Ohio State and in game adjustments that are uninspiring, I’m not sure I buy a different answer than a mutual parting of ways between Texas and Sark at the end of the season. How quickly would a network like CBS jump at an opportunity for a smooth talking coach? Quote
Hornito Posted 30 minutes ago Posted 30 minutes ago Sark to the Dolphins makes sense to me. Freeman to Texas would be great. To me the home run isn’t Saban, it would be Lanning. He’d still have a huge budget, but wouldn’t have to lure kids to the PNW. Not following the Saban legend was a sharp move. 1 Quote
