  1. I was being sarcastic, I always forget that doesn't come across well in text format lol.
  2. If he didn't want PK, why did he keep him around for so long? Nansen was a DC, he could've changed it up then. Don't get me wrong, I get where you're coming from with your opinion but it just seems like a weird situation. Definitely didn't feel like Sark and PK parted on good terms. But I don't think Flood deserves a pass because he's Sark's guy or whatever. If they underperform again, he's gotta go. Can't set a precedent with PK and keep Flood around (assuming his unit struggles again). You made some good points though - thank you.
  3. @Hornmatic@JMarquette You guys are right how stupid of me, the sky is falling, we suck, fire Sark, fire everybody we suck again.
  4. Or he could be closing it down and announcing that he's locked into Texas.
  5. I've made my opinion on the whole PK thing clear, so I won't rehash it. But in saying that, I am excited for Muschamp and to see what he can do. From all the talk I've heard about him and vaguely remember his last time here, it is exciting to hear the positives. But my question is, if PK can have one bad year and be fired, why does Flood get so much of a pass? His unit severely underperformed in 2025 and even in other seasons. Yet his job is secure? On top of that, what if the O still sees a lot of struggles in 2026? Who's to blame then? Who gets fired if that happens again? Anyway, I'm kind of over the off-season talk like a lot of you and want the season to start so we can see our Longhorns play. The schedule is going to be grueling but enjoyable to watch this year and I'm super excited for it.
  6. I like what I'm hearing, but I'll need to see it before I believe it. If they can't dominate Texas State out the gate, that won't be a good sign, imo.
  7. Livingstone was pretty clutch for us early on but he teetered off towards mid season and never really was that reliable after that. Wanted to wish him all the best but the way he left and created drama about it left a bitter taste in my mouth. Hope our guys pummel him into the dirt when it comes time.
  8. I guess that's on Flood and Sark....or maybe it's PK's fault, too? Lol. Either way, good stuff Jeff, love these snippets you put together. Thank you.
  9. Who will they rotate him with? Is it package dependent? I'd assume they'd love to lower his snap count and keep him more productive.
  10. We need to find a funny and quirky one for Gerry again. His joymode and manscape reads were absolutely hilarious lol.
  11. Sometimes it feels like you either move up or get stuck in the G5 meat grinder.
  12. It was pretty much a given that the DB's would be improved under Muschamp. That is his forte.
  13. Maybe, but he very rarely plays.
  14. I'd say either Wingo or Brown.
  15. Got nothing but love for Cole Hutson, hope he wins and is back in a Longhorn jersey. Certainly has his issues but he's a more than capable OL and as you said Jeff, can more than hold his own and will add valuable depth if not a starter.
  16. If you're talking about CFB 27, those are fun. I've done some simming for Texas myself. For whatever reason Texas does not sim well in those games. I'm like 4 or 5 seasons into my current dynasty run with ULM and they fired Sark after year 2, hired Cignetti from Indiana and then fired him after one year of going 7-5 lol. They then hired Lincoln Riley after he got fired from USC and he's currently not doing very well either being on the hot seat.
  17. Can I start a "protect me from politicians act"?
  18. I'm still in the camp of not freaking out over recruitment, especially these days.
  19. I just meant his HS colors are very similar to Miami.
  20. He literally said it was from 5 months ago (Feb) in his comment?
