very rarely will we see many players “stick around” for multiple years with money thrown around at them from another school or us throwing money at their replacement. That’s just the way the game is now a days.

Cam probably wanted way more than he was worth. Yeah.. great shot kid.. but you couldn't dribble a spider drill if your life depended on it. He was a liability on O unless he was screening or shooting and his defense was up and down. His game would have to grow exponentially for me to be worried about him hitting the portal. That's just me though. Not a big loss to me.

When your a role player and will never sniff even the euro leagues, NIL is your ticket to getting ahead in life. Spitballing the #'s here, but if TX wants you to stick around for $250K and your agent says we can get you + $100K you go.

That’s wild!  But if the ask for Cam is around $1 mil, what can we really hope to see as a replacement level?  Scouting the lowest levels for depth is going to have to be at its best for Ballers on a Budget!
