I see so much anger and negativity on the boards since Saturdays loss.  Losses suck, especially when you get out physicalled across the board.   They are having a crisis of identity and confidence from the top down.  We can chose to either support the team and help them push past this towards success, or we can run around bashing the team and calling for coaches jobs.  Don't forget that this is the same coaching staff that took us to 2 playoff semi's in a row.  Two 12+ win seasons in a row and have brought us back to relevance on the field instead of just relevance off the field.

Just like a friend or a loved one, you will give them the hard truth, but you still support them and cheer them on through their struggles, we need to do the same for this team.  I challenge everyone to give some positivity out and break this cycle of negativity and sky is falling mentality.

I doubt this gets much traction, but hoping the OTF community can prove me wrong.

Arch has stepped up and taken accountability, grown and improved each game. He is growing into a qb right in front of us.  He isn't perfect and has a long way to go, but he got heart and that plus talent will lead Texas to great success.

I’m just waiting for Hashtag to show up and hijack yet another thread

Why would I hijack this thread? The team is doing great, sark seems like he has it figured out and arch manning has really turned the corner!

We need to run some screen passes where you are not required to block the D linemen. There. That's positive.

I really hope to see one or two or three of the O linemen to step up and show some fiery leadership.

I’m with you all the way . I find most of the TV journalists bashing our coach & players disgusting. Even some of our moderators questioning our coaching & players. Even our fan base . (so called fan base) talking nonsense. Doing nothing but hurting our team .

Despite all the problems, our team still had a chance to come back until late in the game. They kept fighting & never gave up. Arch tried to make things happen after being hit on almost every down.

Positivity.  The pass protection problem,  if you believe in PFF grades, is not widespread.  LG and RB were the issues.  Is that fixable?  Maybe Baxter returns and handles part of it.  There are options to make LG serviceable.

We have a new Oline coach to help so that’s a positive.

It also speaks to where Flood is right now.

You would think, but if it’s true this hire was made on 9/11, I’m curious why they waited until they had played a couple of games into the season to make this hire.

This is the positivity thread, if you want to DM me I’ll tell you why.

Maybe you should ask why the performance last weekend was less inspiring than the opener.

Preseason expectations….

Arch’s struggles…

I’m not bothered by any of that.

I am very disappointed by the energy, enthusiasm displayed in the first 20+ minutes… really the whole game.

I don’t understand how this past Saturday happens.

You only get to put the jersey on 12+ times.

You have competition in every position room.

You know every opponent has you circled on your calendar.  Literally, Texas is everyone’s biggest or 2nd biggest game.

You don’t match your opponent’s intensity in the SEC… you get bent.  The coaches know that and the team leaders know that.  So what the f*ck happpened?!?

Those are clear symptoms of rat poisoning.

Got a ticket to the Kentucky game for way less than I was expecting so that’s a positive. I still think we’ll win that one so another positive
