Purplehorn3 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 1983. OU RB Marcus Dupree came into the game wanting to repeat his dominate 1982 performance. The Texas defense was ready. The play of the game was when Dupree took the handoff and was met by Richard Peavy. The hit was heard around the stadium. Dupree slowly got up and wandered towards the Texas defensive huddle. He was taken off the field and as far as I remember he never carried the ball for OU again. Meanwhile, Texas Freshman RB Edwin Simmons got the job done for Texas having a 100 yds rushing along with 2 TDs. Final: Texas 28 - OU 16 7 Quote
General Grant Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I started 0-5 in 2000 man. That 2005 game was erotic. When our OTF boy BRob crushed Bomar and Rod tumbled it back all the way I lost it emotionally. 3 Quote

John F. Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Easily the Jamaal Charles run in 2005. That brutal five year losing streak seemed like an eternity, spanning the entire time I was at UT. Before that run it was a close game and I think we had fumbled or something just before, and it felt like we were about to fall apart again. Then Charles was just gone and it was never close. Quote
Beldar Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Guess mine was 1977. We had lost 5 or 6 in a row. They were wearing T shirts to the rally on Commerce saying Who is on top now and OU is Switzerland. We knew they were cheating big time and that made the streak worse. Remember Earl taking it to house to give us lead from around 20 yards out. And late game being back up on own goal line having to punt and Russell E. sent one in to orbit with Freddie Nixon catching it over his shoulder inside their 20 . It was so high we had gunners down there to take him down. That day was one of greatet punting and field goal performances I have ever seen. I had been screaming the whole game saying things i should have been kicked out for. James Street was about 10 seats from me and remember him walking by and slapping on the chest saying way to go buddy. Next year buddy of mine made a T shirt for me to wear to the rally. I miss the rally. On front it said OU is Shitzerland and on back it said Texas 13 OU 7. Who is on top now jackass. 1 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 2 hours ago Moderators Posted 2 hours ago As a fan, it was 2005. The last coherent thought I had that day was knowing it was probably over on Jamaal Charles’ touchdown run. I fell through a porch later that day and don’t think I’ve touched Goldschläger since. As a media member, 49-0 in 2022. My buddy, who is a massive OU fan, texted me at halftime: ”This is your 63-14. Enjoy it.” 2 Quote
Here for the Wins Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The Billy Pittman TD before half was the nail in the 2005 coffin. 2008 was awesome. The Cosby decleator as mentioned previously. Quote

3LegacyHorn Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago Does Coach Ship (or anyone else) think Sark has "taken away' the "hot' routes or ablity to "check" on the line of scrimmage from Arch? If so, why would he? Quote

I sure wish our return trip to the Cotton Bowl that season would have been just as memorable. 😒 Quote
CGG Posted 43 minutes ago Posted 43 minutes ago The Jordan Shipley KO return to cut the score to 10-14. We were down 14-3 and on the verge of being lit up, and that kickoff return completely changed the momentum. OU was also ranked #1 coming into the game. UT was ranked #1 after the game. 1 Quote
